HR TALENT SPECIALIST
SUMMARY
We are excited to look for an exceedingly organized and flexible HR Talent Specialist who loves to problem solve and streamline processes to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing various HR functions such as full cycle recruiting, social media marketing strategy, onboarding and off-boarding, benefits administration, training, and development programs. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills for working closely with others across various departments.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full cycle recruitment from job descriptions and postings, to onboarding and talent management
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and candidate selection criteria
- Manage social media recruitment and engagement strategies to leverage our culture and employer brand across all social media platforms
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding process ensuring requirements are completed
- Collaborate with departments to develop materials/videos/guides/visuals to create a robust training and development program
- Assist with the new hire review and annual evaluation process
- Promote a people-centric culture by streamlining policies and procedures and developing culture-enhancing initiatives
- Perform routine HR administrative tasks, record-keeping requirements, reports, and metrics
- Spearhead the Health and Safety Program
- Administer compensation and group benefit plans
- Prepare employee communications and activities
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in an HR-related field and/or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Recruiter (in-house recruiter or staffing agency)
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
- Must be able to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Display critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
- Strong data entry and Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communications skills – both verbal and written
- Must have excellent social networking skills (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
